EYEE project round table at the Trégey High School of Bordeaux – Tuesday 22nd January 2019

EYEE project round table at the Trégey High School of Bordeaux – Tuesday 22nd January 2019

The students of the Trégey vocational high school have first shown collective intelligence to define their idea of motivation. “Values”, “perseverance” and “goal”, 3 key words among the many interactions the students had during the first half of the morning. Therefore, they were able to make the difference between intrinsic and extrinsic motivations.

In a second time, the business leaders of Solylend, Sew & Laine, i-buycott and Pâtisserie San Nicolas came to share their experience with the group giving precious informations and relevant advices during a roundtable conducted by Cap Ulysse and the students. Career, personal and professional experiences, they all followed a different path. Yet common points, in particular an awareness, a “click”, a first decisive professional experience allowed them to choose the way of entrepreneurship. Those exchanges allowed the students to gain self-confidence and to find inspiration for their future careers. They were able to discuss during 1h30 on the influence of the social background, on the school path to follow, and on the importance of values in the choice of their entrepreneurial activity. They also were interested in the relative notion of “success” and perseverance. As Churchill said: “Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.”
