EYE – Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs / 3EA – Enable Entrepreneurship across Europe and Aquitania

In 2010 Cap Ulysse was appointed, by the Enterprise & Industry Directorate of the European Commission to promote and disseminate a new generation of programs: Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs.

The Enable Entrepreneurship across Europe and Aquitania project , launched in February 2009, offers  20 new entrepreneurs (those who have ideas, projects or a business less than 3 years into development), the possibility of training with an experienced entrepreneur in another EU member state.

The project was coordinated by “Fundacion Universidad Empresa” de Madrid and as partner Cap Ulysse’s role included disseminating of the programme at local level, selecting and accompanying the candidates and awarding of grants with the support of the Pôle Emploi International Aquitaine and the Créer Boutiques de Gestion (dept. 33 and 47). We were also able to provide access to a network of European companies that welcomed 10 candidates and ensure that each intern does work which is relevant to their project.

This project allowed young entrepreneurs with the chance to  :

– work as an Entrepreneur in a specific sector and benefit from the advice given by experts across Europe ;
– be open to new markets at European level ;
– build a network of companies across Europe and search for commercial partners;
– exchange good practices with their European counterparts.

– relevant skills for running and developing an SME

Dates: 2012-2014

Results and products:

10 entrepreneurs from Aquitania went abroad and 10 European entrepreneurs came to Aquitaine.
