Lycée Beau de Rochas: two Spanish students’ visit at the school with ERASMUS+

Ayub Bahraoui and José Antonio Romera, two Spanish trainees in Bordeaux for about 3 months thanks to the project “VET GOING ON” carried by the City of Cuenca and Cap Ulysse and financed by the ERASMUS + program, are doing an internship, in the mechanical field, at the company “Garage Palau Bruges”, located in Bordeaux.

During their stay in France, they visited a school specialized in car mechanics, the professional high school “Lycée Beau de Rochas” located in Bordeaux.

The Lycée offers a cycle of 3 years and welcomes about 400 students who take different courses. All students have 10 hours of laboratory practice per week; the remaining hours they study the theory (English, maths, …). The school has also a residence for the students who study there but do not live in Bordeaux.

The day of the visit, Ayoub and Jose were welcomed by the principal of the school, accompanied of a secretary who, knowing the Spanish language, facilitated the exchanges.

During the visit they saw the various workshops of the school: they visited the mechanical one, car bodywork one and painting departments; they also saw the workshops for trucks and motorcycles.

While waiting for the end of their internship, José and Ayub are going to return in the company until June 18, 2019, the day before their return in Spain.
