[PR.I.M.E.] Mobility in Malta and International Training

Testing PR.I.M.E. tools, mini placements and job-shadowing in Malta

The 7 European partners of the PR.I.M.E. project, including Cap Ulysse, accompanied 5 participants to Malta as part of a mobility week from 26th to 31st January 2026. Our aim is to enable beneficiaries to develop their autonomy by relying on the accessible tools designed by the project.

These participants were thus able to test Erasmus+ contract documents in Easy to read and understand (ETR), and two fun and interactive tools developed on the platform of the project. The first device of Augmented reality allows beneficiaries to prepare for their first flight. It guides them step by step through the various stages between arriving at the airport and boarding. The second one is a tool for individual follow-up throughout a mobility project. Before mobility, the beneficiary defines their learning objectives. During mobility, they identify the actions carried out day after day. Finally, after the mobility, they visualise their skills development results, which can be recognised and validated on Youthpass and Europass.

The participants also had the opportunity to do a mini traineeship in must-see places in Valletta, such as the Manoel Theater, the National Library, the St John's Co-Cathedral, and the National Museum of Fine Arts. A chance to discover the cultural heritage of the city, and to acquire a new professional experience!

After a few days of experimentation, partners had a coordination meeting to improve the tools.

Eventually, the partners were welcomed by the St. Nicholas School staff in Wardija. An inspiring encounter with staff and students, which helped us understand the organisation and missions of the school, and identify good practices.

We thank Vision for the Med Association for their warm welcome to Malta and the organisation of the week, Cooperativa Sociale Kara Bobowski Onlus for coordinating the project, the partners ESTIA — Support & Social Care Center for People with Intellectual Disability, Panevėžio Socialinių paslaugų centras, PSONI Koło w Jarosławiu and CARDET, as well as the beneficiaries and accompanying staff who made this mobility unforgettable.

International Online Training

Following the mobility in Malta, the consortium invited external organisations to discover the results of the project, available on the platform.

Nearly 50 external participants registered for this online training. Among the tools presented during this meeting:

  • A Need Analysis
  • A Handbook
  • Documents in Easy to Read and Understand (ETR)
  • The content of Online Training Courses held within the partnership (YouTube videos and digital media)
  • Two fun and interactive tools for the participants

Final meeting

Launched in October 2023, PR.I.M.E. will close at the end of March 2026. The final conference of the project will be held on Wednesday 4th March in Faenza (Italy) with the project managers and external guests.

An opportunity to look back on these last years of cooperation, present the final results in person and promote our tools so that they can be integrated into new inclusive mobility projects.
