[PR.I.M.E.] Final Conference in Italy

Programme

On March 2 and 3, 2026, the partners of PR.I.M.E. Met in Faenza, Italy, for the final conference of the project. This was an opportunity to look back on the various stages of the project since its launch in 2023, present the results on the digital platform, as well as the mobility in Malta during which the tools implemented by the partnership were tested and perfected.

The guests at this conference were mainly organizations outside the project involved in mobility programmes.

Franca FIACCO, inclusion officer of the Erasmus+ National Agency in Italy, opened the Conference by introducing the current actions of the programme and the perspectives of the Inclusion and Diversity priority for the new programming 2028-2034.

Susana ALVES, coordinator of the PR.I.M.E. project, continued by presenting the tools available on the Digital platform.

Presented tools

The platform offers beneficiaries two interactive tools which give them the opportunity to be part of the organisation and preparation of their experience, before, during and after the mobility.

In addition to these two tools, staff involved in mobility projects (coaches, mobility managers, etc.) can access digital media that help them best prepare for this experience.

First of all, a Needs Analysis carried out by the project partners highlights the needs and difficulties encountered by organisations and staff when implementing mobility projects for people with intellectual disabilities.

A Handbook Is also at their disposal to identify good practices and thus apply them during mobility.

In addition, it is possible to find on this platform models of Erasmus+ contractual documents necessary for the implementation of mobility and intended for the beneficiaries, which are written in an Easy to Read language. With these models, the participants can be more involved in formalising their mobility by filling these documents themselves.

Finally, multiple Online Trainings, held within the partnership, are published on the PR.I.M.E. platform and YouTube channel and address various themes linked to the project, such as the application of the Easy To Read method, Virtual and Augmented Reality in education, disability...

Testimonies

A Mobility in Malta was held to let beneficiaries test the project tools in real conditions. These participants were present at the Conference and were able to share their experience of mobility and the use of PR.I.M.E. tools.

A stay abroad is also a challenge for the parents. During the conference, the Testimony of a participant's parent highlighted the parents' initial fears, the arguments in favor of this mobility which led them to support their child in this project, the preparation for departure, as well as the monitoring during the mobility. Eventually, the parent explained to the audience the changes and progress noticed on a daily basis upon the return of their daughter, leading her to encourage other parents to do the same.

The project coordinator thus concluded the PR.I.M.E. Final Conference by inviting the invited organisations to rely on PR.I.M.E. tools in future mobility projects and by offering them time to discuss with the partners at the end of the presentation.
