Develop key skills to promote the autonomy of young women with a migration background.
Teens2Queens aims to support newcomer women in their transition to adulthood through the development of personal, civic and entrepreneurial skills. Non-formal education, life stories, peer learning and awareness-raising among decision-makers, Teens2Queens seeks to transform invisible obstacles into levers of emancipation.

📌 Development of the Competence Gap Detector, an innovative tool combining online questionnaire and interview, making it possible to identify gaps in personal, civic and entrepreneurial skills among young women with a migration background.
📌 Creation of a modular training program, based on the results of the detector. It includes 15 online modules around the 3 key competencies of the project, and leads to a valuable micro-certification.
📌 Implementation of a training program for 30 trainers and social workers, in order to give them the tools they need to better support young migrant women in their empowerment journey.
📌 Active participation of 80 young girls with an immigration background through the co-construction of citizen mini-projects on the theme “European Citizenship and Migration”.
📌 Drafting a general policy document, summarizing the lessons of the project and proposing concrete recommendations to improve the inclusion of young migrant women, in line with the priorities of the Commission's Action Plan for Integration and Inclusion 2021—2027.
Project Details
Newly arrived young women aged 15 to 20 often face multiple difficulties in their integration process: linguistic barriers, social and family pressures, lack of recognition of skills, poor access to education or employment. Despite their potential, they too often remain invisible in public policies.
Launched in March 2025, Teens2Queens is a 36-month European project led by a consortium of 6 partners (France, Austria, Italy, Sweden, Romania). It aims to strengthen the autonomy and active inclusion of 80 young women around an approach focused on key competencies: personal development, citizenship and entrepreneurship.
The project starts from a simple observation: in order to be able to choose their own future, they must first become aware of their skills, develop and value them in a caring environment, adapted to their needs.
Today, trainers, social workers and educational structures sometimes lack the tools to support this diverse audience. That's why Teens2Queens also aims to train 30 professionals, in order to create a more inclusive educational ecosystem.
🎯 A more inclusive Europe starts by listening to young people, trained, and represented.
